Inspection vs survey: what’s the difference?

A homebuyer (Level 2) survey describes the whole property generally. A structural inspection puts a qualified engineer in front of the specific issue, the crack, the sloping floor, the bowing wall, the ‘further investigation recommended’ line, and answers it definitively. Many buyers need both; some only need us.
