After the passing of our esteemed founder, Charles Tidmarsh, Dan and Ben, his two sons, took charge, stepping into leadership roles with a deep commitment to honoring Charles’ legacy while steering the company into the future.

Kelsey supports the Paddick Engineering team as a office assistant, bringing strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to the day to day running of the business. Kelsey offers a unique blend of administrative expertise and design awareness.
In her role, Kelsey ensures the smooth coordination of internal operations, manages communications, schedules, and client liaison, and provides vital support to both the leadership and project teams. Her structured approach and people first attitude help keep projects on track and clients informed at every stage.
Kelsey’s combination of efficiency, professionalism, and design insight makes her a key part of the client experience and a dependable member of the Paddick Engineering team.

Structural Engineer
MSc, BEng (Hons), IEng, GIStructE
Nick is a highly qualified structural engineer with a strong academic background and a comprehensive suite of technical certifications across design, BIM, and project coordination platforms. With a Master of Science in Construction Project Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, Nick brings a detail oriented, digitally proficient, and solutions-driven approach to every project.
Nick is a Graduate Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers (GIStructE) and holds Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status. His deep technical expertise is supported by professional training in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit (Advanced Architecture & Structure), Navisworks (4D/5D/Coordination), Tekla Structures, and SketchUp, making him exceptionally versatile in both design and delivery phases of construction.
Known for his collaborative mindset and dedication to quality, Nick plays a key role in project planning, structural analysis, BIM coordination, and on-site implementation support. His international education and broad technical certifications allow him to bridge the gap between modern digital construction methods and practical engineering solutions.
As part of the engineering team at Paddick Engineering Nick ensures that every structural component is designed with precision, efficiency, and future proofing in mind.

Thomas A.
Building Surveyor
BSc (Hons), MCIOB
Thomas is an experienced Site Manager and Clerk of Works with over 15 years’ hands-on and managerial experience delivering maintenance, refurbishment, heritage restoration and capital works projects. He has a strong background in listed and historic buildings, property estates management and small-to-large-scale construction delivery.
Thomas is skilled in coordinating trades, managing subcontractors, preparing work schedules, producing specifications and ensuring full compliance with CDM and Health & Safety standards. Known for his practical problem solving and calm leadership style, he ensures projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to required conservation specifications and client expectations.

Rashid P.
Senior Civil Engineer
BEng (Hons) IEng, MICE, MCIOB, IStructE
Rashid is an experienced Civil Engineer with over 20 years’ expertise delivering major rail, infrastructure and building projects across the UK. He has successfully managed multidisciplinary works from initial planning and stakeholder coordination through to final delivery and handover. His project portfolio includes significant station upgrades, platform extensions, bridge installations, embankment stabilisation, drainage, utilities and large-scale residential and commercial construction.
Rashid is highly skilled in project planning, temporary works coordination, Health & Safety leadership and quality assurance. He is proficient in producing and managing key construction documentation including ITPs, RAMS, WPPs and handover files. His experience spans both contractor and client-side roles, enabling him to collaborate effectively with designers, commercial teams, subcontractors and Network Rail representatives.
He brings strong working knowledge of Network Rail Standards and extensive site leadership experience across live operational rail environments. Rashid is committed to delivering safe, compliant and efficient project outcomes with clear communication and proactive problem-solving.

Henry F.
Senior Structural Engineer
BEng (Hons), IEng, IMIStructE
Henry brings nearly two decades of structural engineering experience to the team, with a portfolio spanning high end residential, care homes, and complex infrastructure projects. As an Incorporated Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers, Henry is known for his meticulous approach, technical leadership, and commitment to design excellence.
Throughout his career, Henry has led major projects such as the £15 million Willow Barn "mega house" with extensive subterranean construction, and the £10 million Farnham Care Home for Signature Care. His expertise includes reinforced concrete basements, steel frame superstructures, cantilever elements, piling solutions, and structural reporting.
From on site engineering with Clugston Construction to senior leadership roles at ARC Engineers, Coda Structures, and Paddick Engineering, Henry’s hands on knowledge and problem-solving skills ensure robust, cost-effective solutions for even the most challenging builds.
As Chief Structural Engineer, Henry leads the structural design and review process across all projects ensuring each design meets the highest standards in safety, sustainability, and innovation.

Ben brings over 22 years of expertise to Paddick Engineering; working with some of the UK's leading housebuilders, delivering everything from detailed designs for smaller sites to cut and fill appraisals for larger developments and has a strong foundation in engineering and business management. Ben has held pivotal roles in various sectors, demonstrating his capability in project management, strategic planning, and innovative problem-solving.
Ben has gained valuable insights into operational efficiency and client relationship management, which he now applies at Paddick Engineering. Known for his dedication and leadership, Ben excels in delivering tailored engineering solutions that align with clients' unique requirements.
In his current role, Ben is instrumental in steering Paddick Engineering toward sustainable growth, fostering a collaborative work environment, and ensuring the company remains at the forefront of engineering advancements.
